Individual Therapy in Los Angeles and Pasadena

What do obstacles look like in your life? Do they show up as self-defeating patterns? Bad habits you can't seem to break and good habits you can't seem to keep going? Do you find yourself procrastinating? Doom scrolling? Binge-watching TV? Eating or drinking more than you intended? Do you find yourself repeating the same relationships?

Left unattended or unaddressed, negative behaviors and painful thoughts and feelings, can manifest as anxiety, depression, illness, muscle tension, sleep problems, and conflicts in relationships. Mental health isn't about "fixing" or "getting rid of" the parts of ourselves we don't like. It's about integrating all the parts of us who make us who we are in order to restore balance to our nervous system, our minds, and our hearts.

I use an integrated, holistic approach to therapy that means together we decide the best approach for you, depending on what your goals and symptoms are. It means that sometimes we just talk and other times we may focus on somatic sensations, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR), or other trauma-informed, evidence-based therapies to alleviate the distress and physical discomfort that comes from holding on to lifelong trauma, old beliefs, and out-of-date coping skills that no longer serve you.

Everyone hits roadblocks....ways of behaving, thinking, or feeling you think will never change. Let's figure out a plan of action that's going to make a real difference in your experience of your Self and your relationships.
